Entry is completely free with no ticket required. There are basic facilities but limited food vendors, so pack a picnic. Parking areas are available but can fill quickly on weekends.

Best visited from April through October when weather is most pleasant. Spring brings beautiful greenery and wildflowers, while fall offers colorful foliage. Winter can be muddy and cold, though still accessible. Summer weekends are the busiest time with local families escaping the city heat.

Pack your own picnic as dining options within the forest are very limited. The nearby Bahcekoy neighborhood has a few local cafes and bakeries where you can grab fresh simit (Turkish bagels) and snacks before entering the forest.
