Early morning (7-9am) or late afternoon (4-6pm) offer the most comfortable temperatures and beautiful lighting for river views. Weekday visits are less crowded than weekends, and fall through spring provides the most pleasant weather for outdoor activities.

The park is free and open 24/7 with ample parking along River Road. There are no restrooms or food facilities on-site, so plan accordingly. The paved trails are stroller and wheelchair accessible, making it easy for families with young children or mobility needs.

Open year-round, but summer visits can be extremely hot and humid,best enjoyed early morning or evening during June-August. Spring and fall offer the most comfortable temperatures for extended outdoor time. Occasional flooding may close portions of the trail during heavy rain seasons (typically late winter/early spring).
