Dulwich Park is a gorgeous 72-acre Victorian park in South London that's a local favorite for families seeking outdoor fun without the tourist crowds. Entry is completely free. There's a paid car park on site (check rates at entrance), but public transport via the train to West Dulwich station is easy and just a 5-minute walk. The on-site Pavilion Cafe offers meals and snacks, plus clean toilet facilities with baby changing.

The park is open year-round and lovely in all seasons. Pedalo boat rentals operate April through October, weather permitting. The park hosts occasional seasonal events like Easter egg hunts and summer outdoor theatre, so check the Southwark Council website before visiting.

The Pavilion Cafe inside the park serves fresh sandwiches, pastries, and hot meals with high chairs available. For a sit-down meal, The Palmerston pub (about 10 minutes walk) is family-friendly with a good children's menu and welcoming atmosphere.
