The Battle Green is completely free and open 24/7 with ample public parking nearby. There are no restrooms directly on the green, but facilities are available at the Visitor Center during business hours.

Patriots Day (third Monday in April) features an early morning battle reenactment that's spectacular but extremely crowded. Fall foliage makes autumn visits particularly scenic. Winter visits are possible but cold, with fewer interpretive programs available.
