Arch Rock is free to visit and accessible 24/7, though visiting during daylight hours is strongly recommended for safety. The site is reached via a scenic trail with stairs and is not wheelchair or stroller accessible, so plan accordingly for little ones who can't walk the distance.

While technically open year-round, Arch Rock is best visited May through October when weather is favorable and ferry service to Mackinac Island runs regularly. Winter visits are possible but require staying overnight on the island and dealing with icy conditions on the trail. Fall foliage (late September-early October) provides spectacular colors but brings larger crowds.
