Visit on weekday mornings during summer (June through August) between 9am and 11am for the best experience. You will beat the crowds, the splash pad and beach are fully operational, and temperatures are comfortable before the afternoon heat sets in.

Admission and parking are completely free. Restrooms and changing areas are available on site. The splash pad is seasonal and typically runs Memorial Day through Labor Day, while the playground and beach access are available year-round.

The splash pad operates from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Lake Michigan swimming is best from late June through August when water temperatures are warmest. The playground and park remain open year-round, making it a nice spot for fall walks and winter beach exploring, though facilities may be limited in colder months.

Head to The Lakehouse Waterfront Grille (5 minutes away) for burgers, fish and chips, and a kids menu with waterfront dining, or try Fatty Lumpkins Sandwich Shack downtown for creative sandwiches and generous portions that kids and adults both enjoy.
