Michigan State Park passes are required for vehicle entry ($12 daily or $34 annual resident pass). The park has restrooms, but food is not available on-site, so pack a cooler with snacks and lunch for your beach day.

The beach and swimming areas are most popular from Memorial Day through Labor Day when water temperatures are warmest. Fall offers beautiful foliage for hiking. Winter access is limited, though the park remains open for hardy visitors. Some facilities may have reduced hours or be closed during off-season months.
