While open year-round, the park is most accessible and enjoyable from late spring through fall. Winter visits are possible but trails may be snow-covered and require snowshoes. Summer brings lush greenery while fall offers spectacular foliage. Special events and performances occasionally take place at the outdoor amphitheater during warmer months.
