Parking is free and plentiful with multiple lots throughout the park. There are no food vendors on-site, so pack snacks and drinks, though picnic shelters and tables are available. Restroom facilities are seasonal and typically open April through October.

Peak season runs May through September when all amenities are fully operational. The park is beautiful in fall for leaf-peeping walks, and winter offers opportunities for sledding on gentle hills and winter hiking. Restrooms and water fountains close for winter, typically from November through March.

Head to Lakeville Brewing Company (family-friendly with a kids menu and casual atmosphere) or Culver's for quick burgers and frozen custard,both are within a 5-minute drive and popular with locals after park visits.
