Henley Aquatic Center is Independence's community water park offering something for every age, from gentle splash areas for toddlers to thrilling water slides for older kids. 1. 1.Arrive right when it opens at 8:00 AM for the most pool space and shorter lines for the slides,mornings tend to be less crowded than evening sessions

Visit on weekday mornings (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM) during summer for the smallest crowds. Saturday mornings are also good, offering extended hours until 6:00 PM. Avoid Friday and Saturday evenings when families pack in after work and school.

As a city-operated facility, admission prices are budget-friendly compared to commercial water parks. Free parking is available on-site. Concessions are typically available, but options may be limited, so plan accordingly for longer visits.

Open seasonally during warm weather months, typically late May through early September. Hours may vary at the beginning and end of season. Closed Sundays. Check ahead for any holiday closures or special community swim events.
