The beach is free to access with no entrance fees. Street parking is available but can be challenging during peak summer weekends. Numerous kid-friendly restaurants, cafes, and heladerias (ice cream shops) line the promenade within easy walking distance.

Swimming is most popular December through March (summer), though the beach is accessible year-round. Lifeguard supervision is more consistent during summer months. Winter (June to August) can be chilly and windy, better suited for promenade walks than swimming.

The rambla features numerous parrillas (steakhouses) and cafes. Try Freddo or Grido ice cream chains for kid-friendly treats, or grab chivitos (Uruguayan sandwiches) from beachfront kiosks that often have kid portions available.
