Entry fee is very affordable at around 100 KES for adults and 50 KES for children (approximately $1 and 50 cents USD). There are basic toilet facilities but no restaurant on-site, so bring snacks and water. Limited parking is available inside the grounds for a small fee.

Open year-round, but trails can be muddy during the long rains (March-May) and short rains (October-November). The dry seasons offer the most comfortable walking conditions. Occasional community events and environmental education programs are held on weekends.
