This is a free public wildlife management area with no admission fees. There are limited amenities (no restrooms or water fountains), so come prepared with supplies and plan bathroom breaks before arriving.

Open year-round during daylight hours. Spring brings wildflowers and migrating birds, fall offers beautiful foliage, and winter provides opportunities for animal track identification in snow. Summer can be hot and humid, so visit early in the day. Trails may be muddy after rain.
