Best visited during Australian summer (December to March) when water temperatures are warmest (20-23°C). Winter months (June to August) see much cooler water (16-18°C) suitable only for hardy swimmers. Ocean pools can occasionally close during severe weather or large swells, so check local conditions before visiting.
