Floyd Lamb Park is a hidden oasis in northwest Las Vegas where families can escape the Strip's chaos and enjoy a peaceful day surrounded by nature. 1. 1.Bring bread or birdseed to feed the ducks and geese (not the peacocks) - this is often the highlight for younger children and keeps them entertained for ages

Visit on weekday mornings (especially Tuesday-Thursday) between October and April for the most pleasant weather and smallest crowds. Early mornings are ideal as the wildlife is most active and you'll beat both the heat and weekend visitors.

Entry fee is $10 per vehicle (cash or card accepted at entrance). The park features accessible paved paths, clean restrooms, and plenty of free parking. No food is sold on-site, so pack snacks and drinks for the kids.

Spring (March-May) is absolutely magical when peacocks are displaying their full plumage during mating season. Summer visits require early morning arrival to avoid extreme heat. The park is open year-round but can be muddy after rain. Fall and winter offer the most comfortable temperatures for extended exploring.
