October through April offers the most comfortable temperatures for family hiking. Visit early morning (7-9am) or late afternoon (4-6pm) during warmer months to avoid midday heat. Weekday mornings are typically quieter than weekends.

These trails are free to access with no entrance fees. Parking is available along neighborhood streets near trailheads. No facilities are available on the trails, so plan bathroom breaks before you go and pack out all trash.

Spring (March-May) brings spectacular desert wildflower blooms and mild temperatures. Summer months (June-September) can be dangerously hot,avoid midday hiking and consider skipping these trails during peak summer. Winter offers pleasant hiking weather but bring layers for cooler mornings.
