1. 1.Visit after a rainfall when the waterfall is most impressive and flowing heavily - it can be reduced to a trickle during dry summer months

Early morning or late afternoon on weekdays offers the most peaceful experience. Spring (April-May) is ideal when snowmelt creates the most dramatic waterfall flow, and fall foliage (late September-October) provides stunning backdrop for family photos.

Glen Falls is free to visit with parking available on-site. The park is a natural area with no facilities, so plan bathroom breaks before arriving. Trails are not stroller-friendly due to stairs and uneven terrain.

Best visited in spring when water flow is strongest, and fall for beautiful foliage. Winter visits are possible but trails can be icy and treacherous - proceed with extreme caution or avoid during freezing conditions. Summer can see reduced water flow during dry spells.

Head to The Grill at Glen Falls (adjacent to the park entrance) for casual burgers and sandwiches, or drive 5 minutes to Main Street Williamsville for multiple family-friendly options including pizzerias and ice cream shops.
