Multiple food options including Time Out Market at Pier 17 with various vendors, plus seasonal food stands. Brooklyn Heights neighborhood just uphill has many restaurants. Very limited and expensive parking in nearby lots. Public transportation or NYC Ferry highly recommended. Some street parking in Brooklyn Heights but challenging to find. Public restrooms at several pier locations with changing tables. Generally well-maintained but can have lines on busy summer days. Extremely stroller-friendly with paved paths throughout the entire park. Plenty of benches for parents to rest. Fully accessible with smooth paved paths. Accessible playgrounds and elevators where needed.

Seasonal Notes

Open year-round, but summer is peak with the Water Lab operational (typically June-September). Free outdoor movies and events throughout summer. Fall offers beautiful foliage and smaller crowds. Winter is quieter but playgrounds remain open,just dress warmly. Holiday lights in winter are magical.
