Admission and parking are completely free. The park has restrooms near the main parking areas but no food concessions, so pack snacks and water. Trails are stroller-accessible in some areas, particularly the paved sections near the parking lots.

Winter transforms the park into a sledding paradise (December-February). Spring wildflower walks are spectacular in April-May. Summer can be hot with limited shade on meadow trails, so plan morning visits. The park is open year-round with extended hours until 10 PM during summer months.
