Weekday afternoons (Monday-Thursday, 2:00-5:00 PM) offer the quietest rental experience with shorter wait times. Spring and fall provide ideal weather,not too hot,and beautiful scenery. Summer mornings are lovely but expect more families, especially during July and August.

Rental prices vary by equipment type and duration. Free parking is available at North Park. The shop can provide helmets and safety equipment with rentals. No food service on-site, so pack snacks or plan to visit nearby restaurants before or after your adventure.

Open year-round with varying hours, but bike and paddle boat rentals are weather-dependent and most popular April through October. Sunday hours are limited (12:00-5:00 PM). The park is especially beautiful during fall foliage season. Winter visits are limited to in-store shopping for gear rather than outdoor rentals.

North Park Lounge (casual American fare with a family-friendly atmosphere) and Panera Bread on McKnight Road are both within a 10-minute drive for post-adventure meals. Pack a picnic to enjoy at one of North Park's many pavilions and playgrounds after your ride.
