Spring and fall offer the most comfortable weather for exploring, with beautiful foliage and blooms. Weekday mornings are least crowded, while weekend afternoons draw local families. Arrive early on summer days to beat the heat and secure shaded picnic spots.

The park is free to enter with multiple access points throughout Philadelphia. Parking is available at various locations but can fill quickly on nice weekends. Restroom facilities are limited to specific areas, so plan accordingly.
