The park is completely free with no entrance fee. Parking is available near the entrance on Estrada do Pau da Fome. There are no restaurants or food vendors inside, and facilities are basic, so come prepared with supplies.

Open year-round except Mondays. The rainy season (December to March) can make trails muddy and more challenging, though waterfalls are at their most spectacular. Summer months (December to February) bring heat and humidity, so extra hydration is essential.

Stop at Taquara neighborhood's local bakeries (padarias) for authentic Brazilian snacks before or after your hike. Galeto Sat's in nearby Tanque serves kid-friendly grilled chicken and rice dishes popular with Brazilian families.
