Singleton Beach is a hidden gem on Hilton Head Island that offers families the perfect combination of soft sand, gentle waves, and a quieter atmosphere away from the more crowded tourist beaches. 1. 1.Arrive early (before 10am) to snag parking close to the beach access and enjoy the calmest morning waters before afternoon breezes pick up

4. 4.Check tide charts before visiting,low tide exposes more beach space and creates shallow pools perfect for toddler play
5. 5.Bring your own shade (umbrella or tent) as natural shade is limited, especially important for protecting little ones from midday sun

Visit early morning (8-10am) or late afternoon (after 4pm) during spring and fall for the most comfortable temperatures and smallest crowds. Weekdays are noticeably quieter than weekends during peak summer season.

Parking is free but limited, so arrive early during summer months. Restroom facilities and outdoor showers are available on-site. There are no food vendors directly on the beach, so pack snacks, lunch, and plenty of water for the day.

Lifeguards are typically on duty Memorial Day through Labor Day. Spring and fall offer the best weather with fewer crowds, while summer brings warmer water temperatures but larger crowds. Winter visits are possible but chilly, with no lifeguard services.
