The iris flowers bloom primarily from February through April, offering the most spectacular views during these months. Outside blooming season, the reserve still offers beautiful coastal scenery and walking trails but with less floral color. Summer visits can be very hot, so early morning or evening visits are recommended.

Netanya's city center, just a short drive away, offers numerous family-friendly dining options including falafel stands, pizza restaurants, and cafes with Mediterranean cuisine.
