Visit on weekday mornings (Sunday through Thursday) when the park is less crowded and animals are more active in cooler temperatures. Winter and spring (November through April) offer the most comfortable weather, as Israeli summers can be very hot.

Admission is moderately priced with family discounts available. The park has both drive-through and walking sections, so wear comfortable shoes. On-site restaurants and snack bars are available, though prices are higher than outside the park.

The park is open year-round, but summer months (June through September) can be extremely hot. Visit early in the day during summer. Note that Friday hours are shorter due to Shabbat, closing at 4:00 PM.

The nearby Ramat Gan Diamond Exchange district has several family-friendly restaurants. Canyon Ramat Gan shopping mall, just a few minutes away, offers multiple kid-friendly chain restaurants including McDonald's, Aroma Cafe, and Pizza Hut with familiar options for picky eaters.
