Best visited spring through fall when weather is pleasant and creek water levels are safe. Summer offers the most fun for water play, though the park can be hot,visit early morning. Winter visits are quieter but playground and trails remain accessible.

Head to Chuy's Tex-Mex (kid-friendly with coloring and great chips) or Panera Bread (quick, healthy options with outdoor seating) both located within a few miles on nearby Lebanon Pike.
