Spring (March-May) offers the most spectacular blooms and comfortable temperatures for exploring. Weekday mornings (Tuesday-Thursday around 10 AM) are least crowded. Fall brings beautiful foliage and pleasant weather, while December's holiday lights are worth braving cooler temperatures.
General admission is $20 for adults, $13 for children 3-17 (under 3 free), with family memberships available. Free on-site parking is plentiful. The Pineapple Room restaurant offers casual dining with kid-friendly options, or bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds.
