Weekday mornings between 9:00-11:00 AM are ideal when animals are most active and hungry, and crowds are minimal. Spring and fall offer the most comfortable temperatures for keeping car windows down, while cooler winter mornings bring active animals without the Texas heat.

The drive-through route is entirely from your own vehicle, making it stroller and wheelchair accessible with no walking required. Food and drinks are available on-site, and there's a walk-through area with additional exhibits after the driving portion.

Open year-round with animals active in all seasons. Summer visits are best early in the day before peak heat. Special holiday events often occur during winter months. Animals may be less visible during extreme weather but the park remains open.
