Admission is $15 per vehicle (cash or card accepted) and advance reservations are mandatory through the Travis County Parks website. The preserve has limited parking and restroom facilities but no food service, so come prepared with all supplies you'll need for your visit.

Summer is peak season and requires booking several weeks in advance. The waterfall is most impressive after spring rains, but may reduce to a trickle during dry summer and fall months. Winter visits can be chilly but offer a serene experience with fewer crowds. The preserve occasionally closes due to weather conditions or water quality issues, so verify it's open on the day of your visit.
