1. 1.Arrive early on weekends (before 10 AM) to snag prime picnic pavilion spots and avoid the afternoon crowds, especially during summer months

Weekday mornings (7-11 AM) offer the most peaceful experience with fewer crowds and cooler temperatures. Spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) provide ideal weather,warm enough for beach play but not scorching hot. Sunset visits (around 7-8 PM in summer) offer spectacular views and a magical atmosphere as sailboats return to the marina.

Parking is free and plentiful in multiple lots throughout the park. Restrooms and outdoor showers are available near the beach area. No food concessions on-site, so pack your own snacks and meals, though grills are available at picnic areas.

Summer (June-August) is peak season and can be very hot and crowded on weekends,early mornings are best. The park is beautiful year-round, with mild winters allowing for outdoor play even in December-February. Occasional closures during tropical storms or high water events, so check ahead during hurricane season (June-November).
