Visit during spring (March-May) for stunning wildflower displays and comfortable temperatures, or arrive early morning (8-10 AM) on weekdays to avoid crowds and heat. Fall months (October-November) also offer pleasant weather and beautiful foliage along the river.

The park is free to enter with ample parking available. Restroom facilities are on-site, but there are no food concessions, so pack snacks, drinks, and a cooler for picnicking.

Spring (March-May) offers spectacular wildflower blooms throughout the park. Summer months can be extremely hot (95°F+), so plan morning or evening visits. River water levels vary seasonally,typically higher in spring and lower in late summer. Check local conditions before planning water activities.
