1. 1.Arrive right at opening (11:30 AM) on weekends to snag prime cabana spots and lounge chairs before the crowds arrive,weekends fill up fast during peak summer.
2. 2.Pack reef-safe sunscreen and reapply frequently; the Texas sun is intense and you'll be out all day. Consider UV-protective swim shirts for kids.
3. 3.Bring water shoes for the whole family,the concrete gets scorching hot, and they provide better grip on wet surfaces around the slides.
4. 4.Outside food and drinks are typically allowed (check current policy), so pack a cooler with healthy snacks and water bottles to save money and avoid long concession lines.
5. 5.Plan bathroom and snack breaks during the afternoon wave pool sessions when lines for slides are shortest.

Visit on Saturday or Sunday mornings right at opening during May or early September for the best experience,you'll enjoy warm weather with smaller crowds compared to peak July/August weekends. Mid-afternoon (2-4 PM) can get extremely busy, so tackle the most popular slides early.

Currently only open weekends (Saturday-Sunday) from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM, so plan accordingly. Parking is available on-site, and while outside food is generally permitted, check their website for current policies on coolers, tubes, and rental options for cabanas or lockers.

Open seasonally from late spring through early fall (typically May-September). Currently operating weekend-only schedule,check their website as hours may expand to include weekdays during peak summer months. The park is closed Monday through Friday. Texas heat is most intense July-August, so bring extra sun protection.
