Admission is completely free with ample parking on-site. The park is closed weekends (Saturday and Sunday), so plan accordingly. There are no food vendors, so bring your own snacks and water, and note that facilities are basic.

The gardens are most spectacular in spring when everything is blooming and in early fall with colorful foliage. Summer visits are possible but plan for early morning to beat the heat. The park may have reduced hours or closures during winter months - call ahead if visiting November through March.
