Kivenlahti Beach is a gem for families visiting Finland, featuring gentle sandy shores and shallow waters perfect for safe paddling and sandcastle building. Visit during June through August, ideally on weekday mornings (9am-12pm) when crowds are lighter and the water is warmest. Late June offers long daylight hours (nearly 19 hours) with fewer tourists than peak July.

The beach is free to access with parking available nearby on surrounding streets. There are basic changing facilities and toilets, but no food vendors, so bring your own supplies and consider packing a picnic.

Swimming season runs from late May through early September, with July and early August offering the warmest water temperatures. Outside summer months, the beach remains accessible for walks and playground visits, but facilities may be limited and water is too cold for swimming.
