The park is free to visit with ample parking near the playground and pier. Note the unusual hours,the park is closed Saturdays and Sundays, so this is a weekday-only destination that closes at 6 PM daily.
Spring and fall offer the most comfortable temperatures for extended play. Summer visits are great for water views but bring sunscreen and plenty of water as the pier and some play areas have limited shade. Winter can be chilly but offers clearer views of boat traffic and quieter trails.
