Cullipher Farm is a beloved Virginia Beach working farm where kids can experience authentic farm life year-round. 1. 1.Arrive early in the morning during u-pick season (especially strawberry season in May-June) to beat the heat and crowds, plus the freshest selection
2. 2.Bring a wagon or stroller for little ones and to haul your produce,the u-pick fields can require some walking
3. 3.Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty; bring sunscreen and hats as most picking areas have limited shade

Fall (September-October) offers the most activities with the pumpkin patch, hayrides, and perfect weather. Spring (April-June) is ideal for strawberry picking. Weekday mornings are less crowded than weekends, especially during peak pumpkin season.

U-pick pricing varies by crop and is typically very reasonable (pay by the pound). Ample free parking available. The farm store offers fresh-baked goods, ice cream, and seasonal treats. Mostly outdoor activities, so dress for the weather.

Peak season runs April through October. Strawberry picking typically May-June, summer vegetables July-August, and the popular pumpkin patch opens in September through October. Winter months have limited hours with farm store only. Always check current hours and u-pick availability before visiting.

Pack a picnic to enjoy on the farm grounds, or head to Pungo Pizza & Ice Cream (5 minutes away) for casual family dining. The farm's own ice cream shop makes a meal stop unnecessary!
