About This Event

Join Montpelier's Horticulture Department and Virginia Master Naturalist volunteers to explore the world of insects! We will cover the basics of insects, their diverse roles in the environment, and some relationships they share with plants. We will tour a variety of habitats, from the cultivated formal garden to the more natural habitats of the Landmark Forest and grasslands. COST: $18/ADULT (18+), $12/YOUTH (12-17), $6/CHILD 5-11, FREE/4 AND UNDER; $5 OFF FOR MEMBERS (use Walking Tour discount code from your donation email receipt email [email protected] with any questions) Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes suitable for walking approximately 2 miles. Bringing your own mosquito repellant and bottled water is recommended.
