Bring the ideas and experiences of James Madison to life with We the Kids Day Wednesdays at Montpelier! This new kid friendly series will explore different themes in an educational and interactive program. Time: 9:30am-12:00pm Pricing: Free with the purchase of a ticket (either property pass or house). Registration is required by May 22nd. Capacity: 40 May 27 - Picturing Montpelier James Madison spoke several languages--and one of them was art. In his time, art was not only decoration. It helped people show who they were and what they cared about. During this program, you will tour his home, take a close look at the art, and then create your own painting of Montpelier. This program is ideal for elementary school age children.
