Open year-round. Spring and autumn offer the most comfortable weather. Summer (December to February) can be very hot, so visit early morning. Winter (June to August) can be chilly and wet, though the park remains accessible. No special holiday events typically scheduled.

The Glen Shopping Centre (5 minutes drive) has numerous family-friendly options including food courts with international choices. Mount Waverley Village (3 minutes drive) offers various cafes and casual dining spots with highchairs and children's menus.
