Open for swimming typically from late May through early September, depending on weather and water temperature. The area remains accessible year-round for walking and playing, but swimming and lifeguard supervision are only available during summer months. Peak season is July and August.

Seestadt shopping center (10-minute walk) offers McDonald's, Vapiano, and several Austrian cafes with kid-friendly menus. The on-site Strandcafe Aspern provides light meals, ice cream, and drinks with lake views.
