Entry is completely free. Parking is available at various access points including Leopoldau U-Bahn station (U1 line). No on-site food facilities, so bring snacks and water. Trails are mostly flat but natural surfaces may challenge strollers.

Open year-round, but spring migration (April to May) offers exceptional birdwatching. Summer brings lush greenery but more insects and heat. Fall colors peak in October. Winter visits are quieter and beautiful but trails can be icy. Some educational programs only run May through September.
