Open seasonally from approximately mid-May through early September, weather dependent. The facility closes completely in winter months. Peak season is July and August when Swiss schools are on summer break. Best value and smaller crowds in shoulder season (late May, June, and September) if weather cooperates.

Uster town center is a 10-minute walk away with several family-friendly options including Migros and Coop supermarkets (great for picnic supplies), plus traditional Swiss restaurants along Bahnhofstrasse.
