National Zoological Gardens

The zoo is open year-round. South African winter (May to September) offers the most comfortable visiting conditions with mild, sunny days perfect for walking. Summer (November to February) brings afternoon thunderstorms, so plan morning visits. School holidays (April, July, and December) see larger local crowds.
