1. 1.Visit during peak bloom season (November to January in the Southern Hemisphere) for the most spectacular purple fields and best photo opportunities.
2. 2.Bring sun protection including hats, sunscreen, and water bottles as there is limited shade in the lavender fields, and South African sun can be intense.
3. 3.Stop by the farm shop to let kids make their own lavender sachets or choose handmade soaps as unique souvenirs to take home.
4. 4.Arrive early in the day (shortly after 8:00 AM opening) for cooler temperatures and fewer crowds, especially during peak summer months.

Visit between November and January (South African summer) when lavender is in full bloom and the weather is warm. Weekday mornings offer the best experience with fewer visitors and cooler temperatures for exploring the fields.

Entry is budget-friendly at the $ price point. The farm has ample parking on site, and while there is a farm shop with products for purchase, bring your own snacks and drinks as full meals are not available.

Lavender blooms primarily from November to January (Southern Hemisphere summer). While the farm shop remains open year-round, visiting outside bloom season means fewer flowers but also fewer crowds. Check ahead if traveling specifically for the lavender fields.
