Visit on weekday mornings in spring (March-May) or fall (September-November) for the best experience. There is a small day-use fee per vehicle (typically $10-15). The park has basic restrooms but no changing facilities, so plan accordingly for wet kids. Parking is limited, so arriving early is essential during peak season and weekends.

Open year-round, but summer (June-August) can be extremely hot,creek time is essential during these months. Spring brings higher water levels and blooming vegetation. Winter visits are quieter and beautiful, though water will be too cold for most kids. The park occasionally closes during heavy rain due to flooding concerns.
