Sanur Beach is Bali's ultimate family-friendly coastline, featuring a protected lagoon with shallow, gentle waves perfect for young swimmers and nervous paddlers. Visit during dry season (April to October) for the best weather. Early mornings (7-9am) are coolest and quietest, while late afternoons (4-6pm) offer beautiful sunrises and a lively atmosphere. Weekdays are less crowded than weekends when local families visit.

The beach is free to access with plenty of beachfront warungs (local cafes) offering affordable meals and fresh coconuts. Most restaurants accept both rupiah and cards, but bring cash for beach vendors and toy sellers.

Best weather is during dry season (April to October). Wet season (November to March) brings afternoon rain and rougher seas, though mornings are often still pleasant. The beach remains open year-round but swimming conditions are best April through October.

Warung Mak Beng (5-minute walk from Sindhu Beach) serves simple, delicious fish and rice that kids typically enjoy. Genius Cafe offers Western-style options like pancakes, pasta, and burgers in an air-conditioned setting, perfect for picky eaters.
