The park is free to enter with ample parking available throughout. There are restrooms on-site, but no food vendors, so pack snacks and water for your visit.

The park is open year-round, though summer can get hot with limited shade on the open lawns. Winter offers cooler temps but shorter days. Spring wildflowers make March-April particularly scenic. The park stays open until 10 PM, making it great for evening picnics during longer summer days.
