Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park

Visit on cooler mornings from October through April for the most comfortable hiking experience. Weekday visits are quieter, and opening time (9 AM) offers the best lighting for viewing the ruins and spotting wildlife before afternoon heat sets in.

Entrance fees are typically $4 per vehicle (Florida state park standard rates). Facilities are basic with restrooms but no food service, so bring snacks and water. Note that the park is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Florida summers (June-August) can be very hot and humid with aggressive mosquitoes,cooler months from November through March offer the most pleasant visiting conditions. The park may close temporarily during severe weather or flooding events.
