Admission is completely free with ample parking at the visitor center. There are restrooms and water fountains available, but no food service on-site, so bring snacks and water for the trails.

Open year-round, though summer can be very hot and humid with more mosquitoes. Fall and spring offer ideal weather for hiking. Winter is pleasant but pack light layers as mornings can be cool.
