Winter and spring (December-April) offer the most comfortable temperatures and are peak season, so expect larger crowds. Summer brings afternoon thunderstorms,plan for morning visits. The sandbar's size varies with tides and seasons. Sea turtle nesting season (May-October) means no beach access after dark.
